Director of AI and Country Engagement

Lea is the Director of AI at the Digital Public Goods Alliance. Previously, she co-led the GIZ program "FAIR Forward - Artificial Intelligence for All" which aims to democratize AI development by enabling access to open AI training datasets, amongst others. She holds two Master's degrees, one of them in Public Administration, specializing in digital technologies & big data. She's an advisor to the German Federal Ministry for the Environment's project on AI technologies for civil climate action.
